Grist Brewing Co.
This brand already had a can layout from a designer before myself. So I worked within this existing brand's guideline to create custom and unique labels and illustrations for their list of upcoming and new beers. Although most designs are can labels - I would at times be lucky enough to design a label, like this Albino Stout, on a bomber.
Above: Shows a white plate that was created for this label to give the areas in white a shiny metallic look, while the magenta areas stay matte. This technique allows the label a unique quality that otherwise would look flat and unfinished.
This client came to us seeking a label and logo combination. We first created a label that incorporated the logo as a badge. For the final design we had to keep in mind that that each flavor had to have it's own distinct color, but keep the overall look consistent throughout.
With each individual client the Art Director and I would collaborate our ideas to come up with a strong visual representation of each clients brand. Whether working with clients to create a whole brand identity, single logo, or bring existing logos to us - we would use those materials to create packaging, labels,
and many other printed goods to convey the clients message.
